Energy Saving Week takes place in Northern Ireland from Monday 5 to Friday 9 November 2018.

Most of the energy we use is created by burning fossil fuels. This process creates carbon emissions which damage the environment. Reducing the amount of energy and water we use will limit the impact on the environment.

Small changes can make a difference.

..

Some of our Eco warriors saving energy by turning off devices, taps, lights when not being used and turning the heating down at home.

Angela Gracey-Roger from the Energy Saving Trust (far right) came to the school to present us with our Energy Saving Champion Award.
She said "We are so pleased that St Anthony's Primary School embraced the schools challenge". By carrying out four simple changes at home the school managed to save over 2,000kg of carbon emissions in just one week!
